I spent decades performing in 5 or 6-piece bands. To me, that is the most beautiful way to experience music. However, times change. Economic factors and smaller venues have turned many of us into solo performers or duos.

As a guitarist and a retired IT expert, I realized that while we might be alone on stage, our sound doesn’t have to be ‘thin.’ I started Soft Backing Tracks to bridge that gap.

Whether you are practicing at home to keep your chops up, or you’re on a live gig needing that extra ‘punch’ to get the audience dancing, these tracks are built by a musician, for musicians. No robotic sounds—just high-quality arrangements of the 20th-century pop, rock, Latin and jazz standards we all love.
