Every Time We Say Goodbye is a popular jazz song written by Cole Porter. It was published and introduced by Nan Wynn in 1944 in Billy Rose’s musical revue Seven Lively Arts. The song has since become a jazz standard after gaining popularity in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Later covered by many famous artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, and many others.
