How Deep Is the Ocean? is a popular song written by Irving Berlin in 1932. The song was developed from an earlier Berlin song To My Mammy which was sung by Al Jolson in his film Mammy (1930). Popular versions of “How Deep Is the Ocean?” in 1932 was by Guy Lombardo (vocal by Carmen Lombardo). Later covered by many jazz and pop singers and musicians like Nat king Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and Diana Krall.
This track is in slow jazz ballad style. In download files we provide backing track in two versions, for female singers – in key of Bb, and for male singers in key of Eb.
