Magic Tresillo – Steel Drum Backing Track

Description

We produced this backing track to support you in practicing and gigging with your steel drum. There are many forms of this instrument from great Hang Drum and Rav Vast to small tank drums with tongue shape petals.  All of them produce nice relaxing meditative sound-heeling music.

This track gives you some deep and nice background and rhythmical pattern for your easier and better playing.

Rhythmically this peace is in well known 3-3-2 pattern, in Afro-Cuban music known as tresillo, but also present in all traditional and modern music styles. Harmony is based on tonic minor chord and a little flow through 3rd major and 4th minor chord, so this track should be appropriate for most of the different minor scales that these steel instruments are tuned in.

We produced backing track variations in 7 main minor keys Cm, Dm, Em, Fm, Gm, Am and Bm, so check your instruments scale and then try the backing track in your key.
