Somos Novios – It’s Impossible is a song originally written and recorded by Mexican songwriter Armando Manzanero in 1968. The song was adapted in 1970 by Sid Wayne who wrote original English lyrics. It was first recorded by Perry Como the same year under the title It’s Impossible. The song has become one of the most popular boleros of all time. Besides Como, it has been recorded by Elvis Presley, Andy Williams, Shirley Bassey, Robert Goulet, Andrea Bocelli and others.
